H2H "BACK TO SCHOOL" Challenge and FREE Tutorial

Hello, stampers:
Today I have a free and very easy tutorial for you to enjoy. I made it specially to participate in the H2H Challenge this week.

I made this cute pencil topper using the "School is Here" stamp set.

Let's get the tutorial started:

1. For each pencil, cut a 3" x 3" piece of Honey CS and a 2-3/4" x
2-3/4" piece of green Dotty for You Collection Paper. Distress the edges with coordinating ink and adhere together as in the picture.

2. Using a dot punch [available also @ WalMart in the office section] punch two holes as in the pictured; you might need to punch more than once in the same hole to make it bigger to insert the pencil.

3. Use a pencil to shape the holes, and maybe make them a bit bigger by adjusting them to the pencil's size.

4. Using the AP, cut a 1-3/8" circle from white CS and one 2" scallop circle from black cardstock. Stamp the apple on the white circle and adhere them together. Also, stamp the message on the topper as shown on the second picture.

5. Adhere the scallop circle to the center of the pencil topper with foam tape. Insert the pencil T

Tea Bag & Cookie Holder Tutorial

Hello, friends;

I want to share with you a picture of the last project I made for my online classes:

This is a cute tea bag holder with room for Splenda packets and a cookie bag; there are two pockets in this holder. A matching 3" x 3" card was made to complete this wonderful set. Did you know the card can be place in one of the pockets? Cool!!
I used some pieces left from Dotty for You Paper Collection.

This was my original project, but as soon as I saw the "Cup of Cheers" stamp set in the new catalog, I knew it was the perfect set for this tutorial.

Have FUN creating!

"Potpourri of Embossing Powders Technique"

Hello, stampers;
I've been playing around with my embossing powders...looking at them sitting in a drawer with no use was not good.
So, I started working with them in different projects and came up with this wonderful technique which I called "potpourri of embossing powders".
There are two different ways to make this:
 Sprinkle embossing powders on different areas on the image, as in this card:

You can also mix them all and then sprinkle, as in this card:

I have a complete tutorial for this technique in my online classes site.

Acrylic Block Taping Technique

Hello, stampers;
I want to share a card I made using a new technique that combines acrylic blocks and masking tape to create wonderful backgrounds for your cards.

This is the background that I created; I used it in the card shown above. Because it has the look of an igloo, I used it in a Christmas card with a snowman.

I have a complete tutorial in my online classes site.

Chicken Soup Klennex Holder

Hello, there;
One of my twin girls is getting sick, so I decided to make her a new Klennex holder with a cute little chicken inside a cup...I'm pretty sure she will get better by looking at ths cute chicken...well, at least it'd make her happy!

All the pieces used to make the chicken in the cup were cut using the AP Cartridge.

This is a nice way to give something cute to a sick child.
I love how pretty it looks!

This project is part of my online classes site.

Hope you like this cute idea!

Another cute idea, don't you think?
